Will GTA 6 Come to PC? What We Actually Know
By Console By The Hour ·
Short answer: not confirmed, not denied, and almost certainly not soon. GTA 6 is launching November 19, 2026 exclusively on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S. Rockstar has made zero official statements about a PC version, at reveal or since.
What history actually says
Every mainline Grand Theft Auto since GTA III has eventually reached PC — Rockstar isn't a studio that skips the platform entirely. But "eventually" has always meant a real gap:
| Game | Console launch | PC launch | Gap |
|---|---|---|---|
| GTA IV | Apr 2008 | Dec 2008 | ~8 months |
| GTA V | Sep 2013 | Apr 2015 | ~19 months |
| Red Dead Redemption 2 | Oct 2018 | Nov 2019 | ~13 months |
Nothing here points to a day-one, or even year-one, PC release. If GTA 6 follows the RDR2 pattern (Rockstar's most recent and most PC-friendly precedent), a port could land sometime in 2027. If it follows the GTA V pattern, later than that. Both are guesses — Rockstar hasn't said anything.

What to actually watch for
Historically, Rockstar has announced PC ports via a dedicated trailer, months after console launch — not as a surprise same-day release. Until that happens, there's no reliable signal, and speculation articles claiming a "leaked" PC release date are not credible sources.
